the Georgia State Games serving as the governing body
of the Games, the staff handles all of the daily operations. The
executive director is responsible for implementing the state
by-laws as well as development and coordination of the Georgia
Games programs.

| Lauren Banks |
Lauren Banks, originally from
Fayetteville, Ga., is an undergraduate student at Kennesaw
State University, located in Kennesaw, Ga. She is a
communication major with a distinction in public relations
and will graduate in the spring of 2009. She is a member
of the KSU Dance Company and is a Resident Assistant at
University Village on KSU's campus. She was named KSU's
Most Outstanding General Education Student in 2006. After
graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in public
relations for the Atlanta Braves. |

| Kerry Bierl |

Kerry
Bierl, originally from Arcadia, Iowa, is an
undergraduate student at Iowa State University. She is an
advertising major and will graduate in the fall of 2007.
She has interned with the media relations department at
Iowa State Athletics and enjoys watching sports, hanging
out with friends, and visiting new places. After
graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in event
operations for a major league baseball team or Division I
college. Last
year she worked at the Women’s Big 12 basketball
tournament in Dallas, Texas and the softball tournament in
Oklahoma City, Okla. |
| Colin Buckley |
Colin Buckley,
originally from Richmond, Va., is an undergraduate student
at Virginia Commonwealth University. He will graduate in
December 2007 with a degree in recreation, parks and sport
management and plans on obtaining a master's degree from
the United States Sports Academy and later work in
professional athletics as an administrator. He has
volunteered, designing various sport programs and
tournaments, at a local company in Richmond that provided
recreational opportunities for kids with special needs. |

Erickson |

Alysa Erickson,
originally from Cambridge, Minn., is an undergraduate
student at North Dakota State University. She will
graduate in August, 2007 with a degree in mass
communication and speech communication. She is president
of North Dakota State's women's rugby team and is the
historian for the university's French club. She loves
swimming, rugby, modern dance and trying new things. After
graduation, she hopes to travel more and be involved in
running youth sports leagues.

Latashia Farries,
originally from Hammond, Ind., graduated from Indiana
State University in December of 2006. She is a recreation
and sport management major and served as the manager for
Indiana State's women's basketball team for over three
years. After interning for the Georgia Games, she hopes to
coach girls' basketball and work as a sports complex
supervisor. |

Jame Girote, a
native of New Lenox, Ill., is an undergraduate student at
Eastern Illinois University. She is a Communication major
with a distinction in public relations as well as a
business marketing minor. She was the vice president of the
American Marketing Association and worked for Walt Disney
World. After graduating in December 2007, she hopes to
work for a Major League football or baseball team doing
marketing or public relations. She also loves the Chicago
White Sox! |

Aubrey Hall, a
senior undergraduate student at Berry College, is a native
of Kennesaw, Ga. She is a communication major with
distinctions in public relations and visual communication
and is currently working on completing a business minor.
She has interned with Kennesaw State University's public
relations office and has worked for Berry's sports
information office, public relations office and the
college's yearbook staff. |

Josh Houser,
originally from Milton, Ga., is an undergraduate student
at Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C.. He is a
marketing and management major as well as a member of the
Appalachian State cross country team and track team. After
graduating, he hopes to pursue a career in sales marketing
management. |

Steven Judge,
originally from Burke, Va., is an undergraduate at The
University of Tennessee. He is a logistics major with
distinctions in accounting and finance. He enjoys
football, track and field and soccer. After graduating in
the fall of 2009, he hopes to become a CEO.

Ashburnham, Mass., is an undergraduate at the University
of Miami. She
is a sports administration major and will graduate in
August 2007. She enjoys running, swimming and participating in
triathlons.

Elizabeth Miller,
originally from Morgantown, W.Va., is an undergraduate
student at West Virginia University. She is a public
relations major and will graduate in May of 2008. She is a
PROMISE Scholar treasurer for WVU's PRSSA. She
enjoys playing soccer and working out. After graduating,
she hopes to pursue a career in either product promotion
and advertising in entertainment/sports or work for a
major magazine publisher. |
| Sarah Potts |

Sarah Potts,
an undergraduate student at the University of
Massachusetts Amherst, is a sport management major with a
minor in sport sociology. A native of Falmouth, MA, Sarah
enjoys rowing, ice skating and was the 2006 and 2007 Atlantic
10 Rowing Champion. She participated in figure skating for
17 years, synchronized skating for eight years and rowing
for two years. After graduation, she hopes to become and
Olympic event planner.

Katie Robinson

Katie Robinson, an
undergraduate student at Mississippi State University, is
a public relations major with minors in geography, general
business administration and leadership. A native of
Tupelo, Miss., she is the president of Alpha Beta Chi and
is a member of PRSSA. After graduation, she hopes to
pursue event management. |

Jessica Soccorsi,
originally from Morgantown, W.Va., is an undergraduate
student at West Virginia University. She is a public
relations major with a creative writing minor and will
graduate in May of 2008. She was awarded "Rookie of
the Year" at the WVU Daily Athenaeum newspaper for
the most accomplished news writing in 2006. Her previous
experience includes working as the production manager of
the P.I. Reed School of Journalism for WVU's 2007
Journalism School Magazine, the city editor of the Daily
Athenaeum in 2006 and is currently the secretary for WVU's
PRSSA. After graduation, she would like to work in events
planning or in campaign promotion for a public relations
firm. |

Angie Taylor,
originally from O'Fallon, Ill., is an undergraduate in the
honors college of Eastern Illinois University. She is a
communication studies major with a distinction in public
relations and is working on a minor in advertising. In
2007 she was awarded third Best Collegiate TV News Anchor
in the nation at the BEA Competition and in 2006,
completed two triathlons and two duathlons. She enjoys
running, football, basketball, volleyball and soccer and
will be running the Chicago Marathon in October of 2007.
After graduating in 2008, she hopes to do community or
public relations for a professional athletic team.

Chaunsia White, originally from Charleston, S.C.,
is a recent graduate of the University of South Carolina.
She graduated in May of 2007 with a bachelor’s
degree in sport and entertainment management. She was
Dean’s list student her last four semesters of college
and is a member of Who’s Who in America’s Colleges.
Football is her favorite sport along with boxing,
basketball, and track and field.
After her internship with Georgia Games she would
like to pursue a career as a general manager of a
professional sports venue and team. She would also like to help coordinate major sporting events
such as the Super Bowl.

Katie Wood, originally from Gladstone, Ill.,
graduated from Millkin University, located in Decatur,
Ill., in May of 2007. She is a fitness and sport major an
was the event manager for Millkin's women's volleyball
team in 2006. She worked as a sports information director
intern for four years and helped plan and organize
Millkin's 2007 Coaches vs. Cancer Shootout which raised
more than $30,000. She played basketball her freshmen year
and played on Millkin's varsity softball team for four
years. After working for the Georgia Games, Katie hopes to
work for a Major League baseball team or for a D1
College's sports information department and eventually
hopes to work for the NCAA.

Celia Worley,
originally from Adairsville, Ga., is an undergraduate
student at Agnes Scott College, located in Georgia. She is
sports psychology major and is co-captain of the ASC
softball team. She is interested in sports
psychology, astronomy, softball, football, and basketball.
After graduating in 2008, she hopes to earn her master's
and doctorate degree in sports psychology. |
