ENTRY
FORMS & REGISTRATION INFORMATION |
Entry Fees:
Online
registration is now closed.
Scratch Policy:
Scratches will be accepted without the assessment of a
penalty fee up until the end of the Coaches and Coxswains
meeting Friday Evening. Entry fees will not be refunded for
scratches. On Saturday scratches should be reported to
registration at least one hour prior to the start of the
race. A $15.00 scratch fee will apply to each entry
scratched after the coaches and coxswains meeting on Friday
night.
Cancellation Policy:
If, in the opinion of the race management, weather or
other unforeseen events cause the race course or venue to
become unfit or unsafe, the regatta will be cancelled. No
refunds will be given.
Late Entries:
Late entries will be accepted until the Saturday, July
11
under the following terms:
Fee: $40.00
for first event $ 5.00 for each additional event.
A $5.00 registration charge still exists for out-of-state
participants.
If you have already signed up for events before Saturday,
July 7, you may register for additional events at a fee of $10.00.
Registering for Late Entries: If you are registering
for a late entry before Friday, July 10, you must contact
Regatta Director, TBA, in order to register.

If you are registering for a late entry between Friday,
July 13 and Saturday, July 14, you may register at the
registration table, ONLY if there is room in the
event that you would like to sign up for. If a heat is
already full, a new heat will not be made and you will not
be able to register.
CHECKS will only be accepted for late registrations.
All late registration forms and payments can be handed in at
registration. Checks can be made out to: Georgia Sports
Foundation.

Coaches & Team Reps:
Please contact Regatta
Director, Sarah Potts, if you are having difficulties with
the registration of your clubs. We are allowing COACHES
or a BOAT REP to send the RD an excel spreadsheet
that list all of the club/team’s entries by boat. The
individual registration forms may then be handed in on the
day of the event at registration with payment. No late fee
would be charged. To make these arrangements with the
Regatta Director, please contact him directly at

COMPETITION FOR
Check-In:
Each competitor must individually check-in
at the regatta site on:
Friday, July 13 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
or
Saturday - July 14 from 6:00 a.m. to
10:00 a.m.
First race will start promptly at 8:00 a.m.
Registration:
Please look at the top of the page or the
welcome packet in regards to the late registration
procedure.
Bow Markers/Bow Balls:
Competitors are responsible for providing
their own bow marker holder, bow markers and bow ball.
Bow balls are mandatory on all boats.
Course:
All races in the 2007 Georgia Games will run
over a 6-lane, 1000 meter course with a floating start.
Order of Events:
No qualifying heat will be run, all races
are final. If more than 6 boats are entered in the
event, additional races will be run for that category.
Events may be combined if there are not enough entrants in
an event. In such case, medals will be awarded for
each category. In events where categories are already
combined, medal will be awarded within category.

Directions from Atlanta:
Take I-85 North to I-985, continue to
Gainesville exit 24; at the end of the exit ramp turn left
onto Jesse Jewell Parkway; at the third light turn right
onto Limestone Parkway (US 129); continue 2 miles, at the
second light turn right onto Route 284 (Clark's Bridge
Rd.). The venue is about 1.5 miles, after crossing the
bridge turn into the park; the boathouse is in the park on
the left.
**Trailers may arrive at the venue starting
on Friday, July 11 at 2:00 p.m. Parking for trailers will be
on the boathouse side of the venue. All other parking will
be directed to the Olympic Tower side of the venue. Please
