PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERNS

Website (Internship)

1 position / Available in each semester: Jan-May, May-Aug & Aug to Dec.

Assist with maintaining the Georgia Games Website.  Will work with the Promotions and Public Relations Department in providing information to the general public via the internet.  A working knowledge of the internet is needed.  Experience in working with FrontPage is needed. 

Public Relations (Internship)
5 positions/ Available in each semester: Jan-May, May-Aug & Aug to Dec.

Will assist the Promotions and Public Relations Department in providing support in media relations, including radio, newsprint, television and all other promotions.  This position requires good communication skills, as well as computer skills.  These positions will coordinate and develop all of the Press Releases, Develop the quarterly newsletters (16 pages/issue), handle all media inquires, coordinate all statistically information, etc.

Graphic Design (Internship)
2 positions / Available in each semester: Jan-May, May-Aug & Aug to Dec.

Will assist the Promotions and Public Relations Department in 

developing and designing the artwork to be produced on various types of publications to include promotional posters, 50+ sports fliers, camp brochures, various tri-fold brochures, media advertisements and t-shirt artwork.

This position requires great knowledge of graphic design computer software such as Illustrator, PageMaker, Publisher, In-Design, etc.

Mascot (Internship)

4 position / Available in each semester: Jan-May, May-Aug & Aug to Dec.

Will assist the Promotions and Public Relations Department in developing the mascot program, acting or assisting mascot at functions and during the Games.
