The Georgia Sports Foundation
needs YOUR help today!

The State of Georgia did not refund the Georgia Games budget with state dollars. Thus we need to raise private funds immediately in order to keep providing all of our programs and services including the Championship Festival for 2008.

What is the Georgia Games?
In the late 1980's, the state of Georgia and the city of Atlanta decided to bid upon the 1996 Olympics. A lack of education concerning the positive attributes of physical fitness and health existed in Georgia at that time. The Georgia Games Amateur Olympic Sports Festival was formed to assist in addressing this problem. Since 1990, the Georgia Games, a program of the Georgia Sports Foundation, has been educating Georgians about the benefits of physical fitness and sports.
