Eligibility:
All Georgia residents (including full-time students and
military personnel) are eligible.
South Carolina and Tennessee residents are welcome with
an additional $5.00 out-of-state fee.
Proof of residency
must be furnished upon request.
Age Requirements:
A competitor’s age is determined as of the first day of
competition in that sport, unless otherwise noted in the
specific sport pages. Proof
of age must be furnished upon request (birth certificate,
report card, association card, driver’s license)
Ratings:
This is an amateur tournament and no professionals are
allowed to participate in these events.
Format:
Single-elimination 8-ball BCA rules will govern the
tournament (www.bca-pool.com
and www.wpa-pool.com)
Race to 4 (Men’s Divisions) Races to 3
(Women’s/Junior’s Divisions.
Flip for opening break, alternating breaks.
Races subject to change based on number of entries.
Equipment:
9 ft Brunswick Gold Crown IV tables, covered with Simonis
860 cloth and Brunswick Centennial pool balls are provided.
Dress Code: Men
and Women may wear polo/golf-style or button-down-style shirts
with a conventional fold-over collar.
Men may also wear dress shirts with Henley collars or
tuxedo shirts with appropriate formal necktie.
Women may wear dress blouses.
No t-shirts allowed.
Men must wear long pants, either dress pants or neat,
clean, casual pants including jeans.
Women may wear dress pants, Capri-style pants or neat,
clean, casual pants including jeans. Women may also wear culottes, skirts or dress of conservative
length.
Men and Women must wear neat, clean, close-toed shoes at
all times. Should a
player require a footwear exception for medical reasons, the
player must provide a letter on official letterhead from his/her
healthcare provider prior to the tournament.
Special

Games organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant
and/or team from the Georgia State Games for any of the
following reasons: False
representation, Destruction of property, Unsportsmanlike conduct
or disorderly behavior and improper use of alcohol or other
drugs

Turn left onto Pleasant Hill Rd NW; go Northwest for 0.38
miles to Mall Blvd. NW.
Turn right onto Mall Blvd NW; go Northeast for 0.16 miles
to 3550 Mall Blvd.
