FORMAT & SCHEDULE |
Tournament
Format: 3 game
guarantee. Pool play to
single elimination.
Uniforms:
All players must wear matching shirts with numbers.
Rules:
ASA baseball rules apply.
Rosters:
Each team is allowed a roster of 15 players. The roster
must be completed, signed and turned in with entry form prior to
competition.
Eligibility:
August 1, 2006 shall be the determining date for the age of the
players. A player may not participate later than the summer
following his graduation from high school. Any
player competing in a specific age division must remain in that
age division throughout the Georgia Games tournament. (
Note: A player may play in an older division but never in a
younger division.) Photocopies of birth certificates,
passports, adoption papers or immigration papers of each player
on the roster MUST be presented at the registration desk.
Each player or guardian must sign the official roster before
participating in the tournament.
Entry
Forms & Waiver: All players and coaches must complete
and entry form and waiver. Agreement, Release and
Waiver of Liability must be signed by each player on roster or,
if player is under 18, by a parent or legal guardian. This
form may be reproduced to send home with individual players.
These forms must be received in the Georgia Games office prior
to tournament start.
Protests:
Protests will be
allowed for rule interpretations only and must be made prior to
the next pitch. A nonrefundable $200 protest fee must be paid at
this time.
