GEORGIA GAMES!
The Georgia State Games will celebrate 18 years of district sports festivals and championships with the 2008 Championships returning to Atlanta after a successful year in 2007. The Championships will descend upon the greater metro Atlanta area in grand Olympic-style.
The Georgia Games, an Olympic legacy, began due to the state's eagerness to prove Georgia's interest in amateur sports. The Georgia Games continue to exceed all expectations.
The 2008 Georgia Games Championships will continue to "Keep the Olympic Dream Alive" in the hearts and minds of Georgians as athletes have the opportunity to hone their skills at new venues and against new competition. The Georgia Games Championships is an event for all ages and skill levels.
